St. Lucia 2018

We had the amazing opportunity to travel to St. Lucia this year to photograph our client’s wedding and were able lucky enough to have some time to enjoy and take in the beauty of the island. We visited a volcanic hot spring mud bath and took a boat ride to a beach for snorkeling. The St. Lucian Pitons were some of the most beautiful landscapes we’ve visited. These photos were all taken either on Kodak Portra 400 with the Contax 645 or on my Leica Q or my iPhone X. We had an amazing time and miss the island already.

Philadelphia 2018

We have been pretty fortunate to have a small following in the Philly and NJ areas and we have been doing weddings at least once or twice a year for the last few years. I have clients in the DC area that go up there for weddings but I also have shot weddings up there for people that are native to Philly as well. This time around, Daniel was with me assisting me and since he had never been to the City of Brotherly Love we took a few hours of our free time before the wedding to explore the city. I had forgot to bring my personal camera with me but I had brought a few extra rolls of film so I actually took the Contax 645 out with me around the city and just held myself to 16 exposures the whole time. That’s one of the best things about shooting film is that you really have to be so deliberate with every exposure and really ask yourself if that shot is worth it or not. It also allows you more time to think about each and every shot and you’ll find yourself more absorbed into the environment as well. If nothing else, it will definitely make you a better photographer. Here are the 16 shots I exposed out and about with Daniel. They were all shot on Kodak Portra 400.

Orlando 2017

This was our 3rd time to Disney so to say our family loves Disney is probably an understatement now 😂 There just is truly something magical about Disney World and getting to watch the girls experience it differently each time they visit is what makes it so wonderful for me. One thing that did make this trip a little different for us was that it was the first time we traveled with another family to Disney. It made the experience all that more fun and memorable for all of us and it was great to watch them experience everything together. Here are just a few of my favorite memories from our trip earlier this year. Everything was taken either on my Leica Q, Contax G2 or of course iPhone 7. I only used 2 types of film on this trip which was Fuji 400H and Kodak Ektar 100. I'm just enjoying shooting more end more film these days ❤️
