Uniqlo. | New York, NY

No joke, Warren and I have been planing to take a drive to NYC just to go shopping at Uniqlo. It’s a small obsession of ours and now that we have actually done it and the trip was so successful I can’t see us not doing it every few months. Here’s a few shots from the short trip. The 5th Ave store is crazy big and hard not to get overwhelmed when you walk in. Definitely a sick store and I can’t wait to hit it up again.

US Virgin Islands.

Weddings have played such an amazing part of our lives the last 2 years. It has now opened us to the absolute beauty of the Virgin Islands. I don’t think that we would have ever discovered this place had it not been for Suzanne + Andy which brought us there. I mean I sort of always knew that it was a beautiful place but not like this. The beaches at St. John are just amazing! The sand is so soft it feels like you are walking on pillows. The waters are warm and changing shades of blue and green. I couldn’t dream up a more beautiful place to visit and it was definitely hard for us to leave.

My vacation camera is now my FujiFilm Instax wide format camera since Polaroid film is just too expensive now. I totally fell in love with it though! It’s not only easy shooting but so fun to do. The colors are much more crisp and the image more sharp compared to the old school Polaroid but still something about it gives it that vintage tone that I enjoy so much. I guess until I get my light field camera sometime next year this will be officially my fun camera.

We just had an amazing time and we really do hope to go back and visit again if we are so lucky in the near future.

iPhone.

Today will mark a milestone for me and my love for iPhone. This iPhone 4S will now make it 5 iPhones that i have purchased for myself and not to mention probably another 5 or 6 that i have purchased for people i love since iPhone first released. Over the years, I have spend countless hours researching and playing with the phone and over a couple thousand dollars on purchasing the phone. I remember being one of the first people in line to purchase the first 4GB iPhone and that was when there were probably only 20 other people in line with me. The phone at that time was a $500 dollar phone with no app store so there were no apps. The phone was a 2G phone and super slow but i was in love. I went in with no regret and purchased 2 of them for $1,000 dollars one for me and one for my girlfriend at the time (Sarah was my girlfriend at the time so it’s ok). This will be my first white iPhone and first Verizon iPhone and although it feels so much the same as my AT&T Black iPhone it’s still exciting to hold. What can i say, i ❤ iPhone.
